Dax is the Yellow Diamond Eagle Ranger (officially the Yellow Diamond Beast Ranger), the Yellow Ranger of the Crystal Beast Rangers and second-in-command of the team (until Shiro joins and passes the torch to Keith). Dax was formerly part of a team named Core-Tech, battle antagonists with massive beasts called Monsuno. Since then, Dax has wandered around after departing from his friends and until he ended up in Angel Grove, where taken a job at the Youth Center while taking classes at Angel Grove University with Keith, Flash, Jazz, and Julie. He didn't want to be part of the team at first, but then realizes that he must fufill his role due to bonding with his Crystal Gem. He is the bearer of the Diamond Gem and his Gem Beast is the Eagle Diamondzord aka Diamond Eagle. His element is lightning.
Personality[]
Dax is a typical bad-boy that shows his personality and is shown to have an Australian accent. He was shown to be a very cocky attitiude which annoyed his old friends: Chase, Bren, Jinja, and Beyal. But since his departure from the group, Dax has shown his caring and merciful side. He, too gets slightly annoyed by his teammate, Flash because of his small ego, but tries to keep the team together after being part of the team he was in before.
At first, Dax turned down on being a Ranger after he became the Yellow Ranger when fighting Sendak, but after realizing that the world needs him as well as his team, he remains on the team and starts becoming comfortable in being the Yellow Ranger.
